Electric re-sale WITH reference to the item: Electrical car points not used (Argus 9th Aug). The president of the AA, Edmund King, in his support of hybrid and all electric vehicles is quoted as saying that attitudes of the motoring public need to change.
I suggest that despite the excellent quality of the technology going into these vehicles, the real influences on attitudes will start to occur when and if those vehicles fetch a decent price second-hand and/or in part-exchange. Cost is the great leveller, and with a price tag of anything up to £25,000 motorists won’t be too happy if they feel they have sacrificed good money on the altar of dubious environmentalism.
