HOW bizarre that Welsh nationalist Mr A Nutt attempts to link the bedroom tax with the living wage introduced by Labour-led Caerphilly council but neglects to put responsibility for introducing this unfair tax at the door of the tories.
Mr Nutt argues that money used to pay a living wage should be used to pay the bedroom tax for 2,741 tenants. Maybe he would like to enlighten those who now receive a living wage as to why Plaid Cymru feel that they are undeserving and why those with rent arrears, which can be for various reasons, should get financial support.
I would add that tenants who do fall behind with their rent for genuine reasons will be supported and eviction is always the last option.
