WALES has always had a history of punching above it weight. Whether it is producing great actors, musician, TV presenters or scientists and politicians or gold medal winners, successful football, rugby teams and world champions from various sports. So let’s celebrate the achievements of past, present and future GCSE Level, A Level students and university graduates.
Remember most of them come from poor under privilege backgrounds which make their achievements even more remarkable. Next year I will be getting behind our athletes in Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games, when they represent our country. Let’s hope they can bring home the medals for Wales and the people of Wales. So punching above our weight is nothing new, we as a country just need the confidence and there is nothing that can’t be achieved.
