I WOULD like to inform Lyndon Bishop that, according to an article in the Free Press, Torfaen council has seen sense and lifted the ban on cycling in Pontypool Park. The no cycling signs have been removed.
It seems my rant had some influence as did the complaints from other cyclists, so I advise him to keep an eye out for bikers because it would be a great pity if there was an accident involving himself or any of his dogs. Perhaps all cyclists should be so kind as to give warning when approaching dog owners and dog owners should be considerate and stop their pets running in front of or chasing people on bikes.
I can assure Lyndon Bishop that if I see anyone putting up anarchist stickers I will take the appropriate action. So glad that the children of Penygarn have a safe place to cycle still.
