I AM writing after returning from a short break in Newport which brought my mum back to the city where she was born.
I felt I had to write this letter to let you know what wonderful, caring people there are in Newport. Everyone we spoke to was helpful and friendly.
I would like to say a special thank you to the boys on the Transporter Bridge, the gentleman in the Secret Garden cafe who gave us directions to the Brecon Beacons and the manager of St Woolos Cemetery.
It is nice to know that there are still decent people in the world and we look forward to returning to your city in the near future. Thanks again Newport for a lovely experience.
