AS AN activist campaigning against the cuts and against the various injustices of capitalism, I can assure Colyn Evans I have participated in direct action on numerous occasions and have been arrested for my beliefs.
I daresay Colyn Evans wasn’t at Pontypool Magistrates Court when we got hauled up for non-payment of the Poll tax by a Labour-controlled council or when the bailiffs were hammering at the door? Perhaps, Colyn Evans could state where the law was not broken where social change for the better was campaigned for? Against pit closures? Against slavery? For the Welsh language? For women’s emancipation?
