EVERYONE complains about the city centre going downhill, well today I had the rare occasion to go into the city and it will be a long time before I go again. I am disabled and because the battery was low on my scooter, my husband and I decided to park in the car park by the old station (the reason for this was that all disabled parking near the market have been removed) what I did not expect was to buy part of the car park. £3.50 for what turned out to be less than one hour, and was this car park built for midgets? When trying to get into the lift, talk about a three-point turn more likely 43, everywhere you walk they are digging it up, and what congestion with the parking of the buses, also manoeuvring around parked cars and lorries outside the market is a nightmare. Sorry Newport you are really a waste of space.
