WE ARE forever reading of the failures in the National Health Service, ambulance service and education, just three areas for which the Welsh Assembly are responsible.

Their record over the years has proved to be abysmal.

Is it now time to ask the question: ‘do the people elected to the Assembly have the ability to deal effectively with these important areas, or is it totally beyond them?’ They receive lucrative salaries, but are not providing any sort of effective service which the people in Wales deserve. Now, the Assembly are seeking to increase their numbers, that would be with any attendant support they feel necessary, and are asking for additional powers.

What in heaven’s name for? They can’t deal with current issues.

The time has come for a review of government in Wales. Independence is all right if it works. It is apparent that it isn’t working in Wales.
