I WANTED to take this opportunity to thank the communities ofWales for their outstanding support, not only this year for our 70th birthday, but for the continued dedication they have to improving the lives of cancer patients and their families. We simply could not do all that we do without your support.
On December 1, we will be hosting the finale to Tenovus’ 70th birthday celebrations with a fantastic gala concert at the Wales Millennium Centre. It will be hosted by our patron, Rob Brydon, and we will be joined by a host of Welsh musical talent.
This is a chance for everyone who has been involved with Tenovus, however big or small, to look back at not only this year, but our last 70, and celebrate all the achievements we have made together. that have helped support thousands of people affected by cancer in Wales and millions of cancer patients worldwide.
The support we receive from the generous public is incredible and in our 70th birthday year, I think we can all be proud of what we have achieved so far and look ahead to new challenges and to continuing our work so we can be there for anyone affected by cancer, wherever and whenever they need it most.
I’d love for you and as many people as possible who have supported us in the last 70 years, to join us on Sunday, December 1, at the Wales Millennium Centre for a night of outstanding entertainment, and of course, a celebration in true Tenovus tradition with music from our very own Sing with Us choirs. Tickets are available directly from the Wales Millennium Centre www.wmc.org.uk and range from £19 to £49.
I look forward to celebrating with you!
Claudia McVie chief executive Tenovus
