AS A pensioner with a bus pass I was quite surprised when it suddenly stopped working last week.
After numerous threats of ‘I’ll have to charge you if it doesn’t work’, I went to the information station to find out why. They didn’t know but said I would have to get a new one at a cost of £5.50 and wait ten to 14 days for this.
Why should I have to pay for this and wait, as they make them upstairs in the information station? The said bus pass hadn’t been lost, damaged or changed in any way from the week before, it was obviously faulty.
The Welsh Assembly is to blame for this, apparently, as they insisted on a rise of £2.50 in the cost of a bus pass for admin, so can anyone tell me why I have to bear the cost as it’s not my fault.
