MUST apologise to those readers when I wrote thinking the chance for Wales and Mr Gatland’s chances for going to the history books was gone, and it seems very much like the mindset against France was restored and play resumed as per normal.

But it still remains to be a tough task at hand – there are four teams all with one loss, so it could all depend on the amount of points in the last game with Wales playing England next game one of them will leave the chance of the championship on the field, but this, whichever way it goes, will create a game the week after between Ireland v France to produce their best performance as they will still have the championship in their sights and it looks like it’s coming down to the team with the most points.

So it is my honest opinion that the Welsh players, some of the best in the world, as a whole needs a real good honest pep talk not a reprimanding of performance.

They all know the game as good as anyone, and I hope they all understand that there will be a change in the WRU and they can all be happy about it within a short period of time.

The people and fans who care, throughout the Valleys of Wale,s know the problems that is a burden on the players.

In closing, as the day of this game is the funeral of a close friend of mine, Allan Pritchard, a strong rugby player and fan.

Hope Wales will give him a winning send off.
