IN RESPONSE to a reader’s letter carried in your paper on March 4 entitled ‘No posting view’, which suggested that the Post Office does not encourage nor provide contact details for customers and other interested parties to write in about the current public consultation surrounding the proposed move of the Bridge Street branch, I am happy to set the record straight.
The Post Office welcomes feedback on its plans and provides a variety of channels, including from contributors who would like to write to us, for customers to let us know what they think.
The information contained within the branch to which your reader refers carries details of the various feedback channels available, including the option of writing to the Post Office consultation team using the ‘FREEPOST Your Comments’ postal address. I hope that this explanation clarifies the situation and we look forward to all feedback received before the consultation closing date. Stuart Taylor Post Office External Relations Wales
