YET again, nationalist Mr Nutt criticises Labour-led Caerphilly council for paying the Living Wage to its lowest earning workers.
This time, Mr Nutt says “people of Blackwood get a chance to show their opinion on the Living Wage and other Labour failures” (Argus, March 19).
Mr Nutt is aware that Caerphilly’s Plaid councillors voted for the Living Wage too, isn’t he? Has he checked with them whether they’re happy for him to condemn their voting record? Is this evidence of a big split in nationalists’ ranks? I think we should be told.
Meantime, our Labour-led Caerphilly council will get on with its successes, rather than “failures”, like promoting new jobs at Blackwood Gate in Islwyn.
