SURPRISE! Not really, Newport Labour council’s recently proposed 248 home housing development on the Glebelands’ chemically contaminated site near the River Usk has been delayed for months due to a number of issues surrounding the plan.
I wonder if these issues include Jim Dyer’s objection (Argus, March 18) to the plan?
No, of course it has to be officially in writing to Newport City Council. Furthermore, Jim Dyer needs to read my letters very slowly and not misquote me. I have not mentioned “100” objections and did not “ask” his reason for objecting.
