YOUR article on former Newport wing Dennis Perrott made for a good read. Interesting to learn Dennis carried the Empire Games baton up Tredegar’s Sirhowy Hill. They knew he had the engine to do it! I was in a party from Tredegar Grammar School taken to see the All Blacks game at Rodney Parade by our PE teacher, the late Alun Pask. It remains the biggest game I’ve attended.
