A BBC poll reveals that only 48 per cent of people know that the NHS is Wales is run by the Welsh Government.
Less than half of people in Wales realise the NHS is run by the Welsh Government, according to a poll. The poll – which marks 15 years since the Queen opened the Assembly in 1999 – found 48 per cent knew the Welsh Government was responsible for the health service, with 43 per cent thinking the UK government is in charge.
The findings will throw a new light on the political row between the two administrations over standards in the Welsh NHS. Earlier this year, prime minister David Cameron said care was so poor in some Welsh hospitals that Offa’s Dyke was a “line between life and death”.
Now I know why people continue to vote Labour, when our NHS is in such a mess. Nearly half of people in Wales think the Tories are responsible. While Teflon Carwyn and his bunch of misfits get away with doing such a terrible job.
