I would like to take this opportunity to invite Mr John Cunningham to come along to Blaenavon (pothole town) to see for himself the disgusting state of our roads.

I would say about 80 per cent of our roads are in a deplorable condition.

Upper Coed Cae, which has to be the worst in the area, Catholic Hill, Hillside Avenue, Elgam Avenue near the fish shop, Waun Street, High Street – these are to name but a few.

It is impossible to dodge all the potholes.

We have much better car parks than roads.

It is about time something was done about these conditions.
