ON Saturday my husband and I visited Belle Vue Park and decided to visit the tea rooms. I was very disappointed to see they were closed. This park is popular at weekends and I would have thought it would be a good time to raise revenue for the tea room. It would be a pity if it closed, as this would lead to vandalism when money has been spent restoring it. While the weather is hot, perhaps more bands could be encouraged to play there. When the new town centre development has been completed, surely we would want to encourage tourists to Newport? Rosalind Lee, Newport
