INDEED, it’s rather worrying that UK residents are going to the Middle East to wage war, to kill and be killed, Dennis Jones.

Perhaps if the west stopped invading foreign countries in order to control their resources, ie. the invasion of Iraq, there would not be such a kickback from radical Islam?

Although, given the historical support by the British Government for Saudi Arabia, the main backer of Wahhabism, I wonder at the obvious contradiction, especially as the UK is making friendly gestures to Iran?

What is certain is that pouring more petrol into the volatile mix isn’t going to help.

Perhaps we should all wean ourselves off reliance on the black stuff?

The latter move would certainly add to our existence as a species, i.e. by reducing global warming!
