I THINK it is absolutely disgusting that the name of Newport is not even on the logo produced for the Nato conference being held at the Celtic Manor.

Why on earth not? Are they ashamed of Newport? If it was in Cardiff or Swansea, it would be in huge letters all over the logo.

There’s not a lot to shout about in Newport at the moment, but why do we allow them to do this? When we had the Ryder Cup at the Celtic Manor, it was the same. It was held in the ‘Vale of Usk’! We, the people living here, should be protesting loudly about this. Every Nato summit ever has had the name of the city on the logos. So Newport should be on there as well.
