WITH reference to Rebecca Little’s letter in your paper June 27. I entirely agree with her about cyclists on the canal bank.

I walk from the Darren Road to Ty-Sign on a Sunday and have been very close to getting hit many times especially when they ride two or three abreast. All they have to do is ring a bell or say excuse me.

It’s lovely to see families out cycling, which I’ve done myself in the past (using a bell) but some of the more experienced ones just go to fast, when the canal bank is used by so many walkers.
