TODAY we hear that the civilian population in Gaza – one of the most crowded few square miles in the world – is being hammered yet again by air, sea, and land.
The unrelenting violence has claimed the life of one Palestinian child every three days since 2000 and dozens have been killed in the latest Israeli onslaught. Gaza’s hospitals are running out of drugs and its corridors are overflowing with casualties from the bombing.
When will the world say, enough is enough?
While Israel’s politicians crank up the crisis by threatening a land invasion, Europe and Britain continue to give preferential trade status to Israeli imports.
I want Israel to live in security; but after 60 years of violence, peace will only come with justice.
