I FEEL IT WAS the responsibility of all parties involved in the Velothon event to ensure the public were properly informed. The passing of the buck solely on to Velothon Wales for failure to adequately notify the public is not a sufficient response. All the local authorities involved were responsible for road closures and would have known well in advance and yet they did not think it their duty to let the public know or to ensure that this was done. I have heard what Andrew Taylor had to say and It is clear that The "long-term engagement with businesses and residents" fell far short of what was needed. Everyone should have been notified much earlier and this did not happen. This is a total disgrace and All those involved should have the decency to own up that they did not do enough.
