WITH reference to Shaun McGuire’s letter on 11th June 11, I feel I must put pen to paper and defend Paul Flynn’s record as an excellent constituency MP.
In 1998 I had cause to contact Mr Flynn regarding a long, expensive legal battle I was having with a ruthless landowner over the purchase of my freehold. Within two weeks of my initial contact with Mr Flynn, I received a letter from Geoffrey Hoon MP, Minister of State in The Lord Chancellor’s Office; the advice and help given, thanks to Mr Flynn’s intervention, eventually helped me in winning my battle.
More recently (March 2015) I became involved in a bitter dispute and complaint against the DVLA in Swansea. In desperation I copied Mr Flynn in on an email not expecting him to become involved, but surprisingly I received a reply from him within twenty minutes. Now that’s what I call being “on the ball”. The help given, once again, resolved my problem almost immediately. I don’t always agree with Mr Flynn’s party, but I always have and always will continue to support and vote for Paul Flynn in, hopefully, a few more elections to come. Thank you, Paul Flynn, from a very satisfied constituent.
Adrian Booth,
Rogerstone
