WHAT a pathetic pair of MPs we have in South Wales in the form of Wayne David (Labour Caerphilly) and David Davies (Conservative Monmouth).
What a handful of miserable, greedy traders we have and what a handful of totally rotten apples we have.
Yes, these are the people who have whinged on and on about the brilliant Velothon.
The rotten apples are those sick people in Caerleon and Caerphilly who put people’s lives in jeopardy by childishly putting tacks on the road. What a sad bunch!
They should all have been thrilled to be part of something great for South Wales and should have embraced and joined in a great day.
Fortunately, the vast majority of people did embrace the event and thoroughly enjoyed what they saw and became part of.
What an inspiration to see people of all ages, all shapes, and sizes and indeed all sexes, participating in a physical and fun activity. Participants came from all over the UK and Europe. Great for Wales in every possible way.
I say to the two MPs, get real, there are far more important issues for you to sort out than supporting a few greedy traders in Wales.
In particular, I would say to Wayne David, the Velothon was far better organised than the Labour Party’s election campaign.
I say to the whinging traders, get real, this was one day, out of 365 in a year, of closed roads.
I say to the rotten apples, you obviously have major problems, so go seek some help; it is out there, go and find it urgently.
What an uneventful and dour life we would all lead if it was up to this minority of individuals.
