NEWPORT have bolstered their ranks with three more players for the coming season.
The Black and Ambers have signed centre Dom Franchi, full-back Ed Doe and tighthead prop James Monck.
Franchi is now a permanent member of the Black and Ambers squad after being allocated to the club by the Dragons Academy last season.
The powerful 19-year-old made 12 appearances, scored three tries and had an impressive end to the season after settling into midfield.
Doe, 22, arrives from Glamorgan Wanderers and is an elusive runner and fine finisher. He scored nine tries in the Championship last term and can also play in midfield.
Front row forward Monck first caught the eye of the Newport coaching team when he played against them for Rumney in a 2011 pre-season game.
The 25-year-old, who played a pair of Premiership games for Cardiff last season, featured for the Black and Ambers in a friendly against Coventry and will return to Rodney Parade to provide competition for Gethin Robinson.
Newport had already added to their boilerhouse by snapping up 30-year-old back row forward Lee Beach and 25-year-old lock Adam Brown from London Welsh. The pair had been playing full-time for the Exiles in the Aviva Premiership and will add steel.
Newport have not ruled out adding to their squad before they open their season with a British and Irish Cup play-off at Cross Keys on Saturday, August 31.
