DIRECTOR of rugby Lyn Jones has not yet decided on who will captain his new-look Newport Gwent Dragons.
The Rodney Parade region went on the road yesterday to unveil their new home and away jerseys at Caldicot Castle.
Last season’s captain Lewis Evans and Wales lock Andrew Coombs, who was stand-in skipper at the end of the campaign, were among the models.
They are in the running while new hooker Rhys Thomas is a strong candidate after previously leading Cardiff Blues.
“We’ve not decided and I will probably name a captain in around ten days’ time,” said the new boss.
Meanwhile, another man with international captaincy experience has not yet joined up with his new Dragons teammates.
Fijian back row forward Netani Talei, who signed from Edinburgh, is waiting for a visa and will not arrive until mid-August.
