NEWPORT County midfielder Max Porter is facing another lengthy injury lay-off, the Argus can reveal.
As we reported today, Porter has been to see a specialist as he's still in discomfort after his long-standing groin injury that ended his season in January.
And the news wasn't good, Porter now requiring blood injections and plenty of rest, as confirmed by boss Justin Edinburgh.
"It's a bitter blow to us," he said.
Defender Ismail Yakubu (calf) will also miss Saturday's trip to Dagenham with a calf injury, but Michael Flynn (hamstring) and Tony James (hamstring) are fit for selection.
