NEWPORT County AFC recovered from a horror start at Scunthorpe United to claim their second successive away point in League Two.
The Exiles, who also drew 1-1 at Dagenham & Redbridge last Saturday, were a goal down in just 61 seconds at Glanford Park as Sam Winnall headed past Lenny Pidgeley from only a yard out.
The hosts could have extended their lead as they dominated early on but County slowly found their feet.
And Justin Edinburgh's men earned a draw thanks to Andrew Hughes' close range strike just after the hour following Harry Worley's knockdown.
Both sides had the chances to win it in the last half an hour but a point apiece was a fair reflection of the game as a whole.
