NEWPORT County AFC striker Christian Jolley will miss tomorrow's trip to Exeter City as he undergoes surgery on his groin injury.
The Exiles' Wembley play-off final goal hero has been hampered throughout the start of the 2013/14 season due to the injury and the decision has now been made for Jolley to have an operation.
He has been booked in to have the surgery on Saturday morning and manager Justin Edinburgh estimates that he will be ruled out for up to three weeks.
Edinburgh said: 'We appreciate what he (Jolley) has done for us in playing for the team during the early part of the season and we know he is the best possible hands now.
"The club looks forward to him returning stronger in the near future."
