Cwmcarn gymnastics club achieved great results when age groups 6 and 7 competed in an inter club friendly competition at Heolddu Gymnastics Club in Bargoed.
In the age 6 year category, Catrin McWilliam achieved 1st place on vault, 3rd place on beam and 3rd place on R&C. Carys Dent achieved 1st place on tumble, 2nd place on vault and 3rd place on bars. Grace Jones achieved 3rd place on vault. Macy Jones achieved 2nd place on bars and 2nd place on tumble. Age 6 group category over all took away 1st place in the team medals.
In the 7 year category Ella Johnson achieved 1st place on tumble and 3rd place on vault. Libby Hodges achieved joint 2nd place on tumble and Grace Williams achieved joint 3rd place on tumble. The 7 years team Ella Johnson, Libby Hodges, Grace Williams, Emily-mae Phillips, Libby Greenslade took 2nd place.
All the coaches at Cwmcarn gymnastics club are very proud of the gymnasts that competed on the day and for the hard work and commitment on the lead up to the competition.
