CHRIS Coleman has performed a U-turn and will hold talks with Newport defender James Collins today, it has emerged.
According to Welsh assistant coach John Hartson, the duo will meet today in an effort to settle a dispute that has been rumbling since Collins was initially left out of the last squad.
A war of words and a disagreement as to whether or not Collins turned down the chance to play for Wales followed, with the FAW indicating yesterday that Collins shouldn't expect a call any time soon.
However, with Swansea's Ashley Williams now confirmed to miss both Friday's clash with Macedonia and Tuesday's trip to Belgium, it would appear Coleman is ready to offer West Ham's Collins a lifeline.
