STUDENTS from Coleg Gwent's Crosskeys Campus recently booked their places at the British Colleges Sport National Championships at Bath University in April.
The students competed in the Welsh FE Colleges Championships held at the Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff.
Nia Kenward won the women's squash tournament while Kayley Price, Roseann Charles, Lowri Williams came first, third and fifth respectively in the female cross country.
And the netball squad won all of their matches to represent Wales at the National Championships.
Students taking part in later competitions in trampolining and swimming will also get the opportunity to try for a place in the National Championships.
Mererid Dark, Coleg Gwent sports lecturer, said: "This is a tremendous achievement for all the students. We should also congratulate our other competitors in hockey, badminton, female and male five-a-side football and basketball competitions."
