NEWPORT County's chronic case of Aggborough-phobia reared its ugly head again as the Exiles crashed out of the FA Cup 4-2.
The Exiles had the better of the early exchanges and missed some great chances to move ahead, but they were defensively all over the place and the hosts took full advantage.
A brace apiece for strikers Michael Gash and Callum Gittings blew the Exiles away and at 4-0 the hosts missed good chances to really humble County whose FA Cup dream is over for another season.
Justin Edinburgh's side did rally with Robbie Willmott scrambling home a consolation goal before a late header from Willmott who also rattled the crossbar threatened a grandstand finish, but the hosts deservedly head into the draw for round three.
