TONIGHT'S League Two clash between Newport County AFC and Oxford United will go ahead as planned after a 1pm pitch inspection at Rodney Parade found the surface to be playable.
The match (kick-off 7.45pm) will be the first for County at home since the shock 2-1 defeat to Northampton Town on January 4.
The Exiles have seen six home matches postponed since December 21 including tonight's clash with Oxford, which was originally set to be played on New Year's Day.
Justin Edinburgh's men are therefore at home for their next five league matches as they look to get their promotion push back on track, starting tonight.
County say that tickets will be available on the gate tonight.
