BLACKWOOD’S Andrew Pagett sailed through to round two of the Bet Victor Welsh Open snooker at the Newport Centre with a 4-0 whitewash of Marcus Campbell tonight.
The 31-year-old practice partner of Mark Williams was far too good for Dumbarton’s Campbell.
Meanwhile fellow Welshman Duane Jones was beaten 4-2 by David Gilbert but reigning world champion Ronnie O’Sullivan beat Mitchell Travis 4-1.
