FORMER Newport and Dragons centre Tom Isaacs has joined the Welsh contingent at Gloucester, writes Chris Kirwan.
The 27-year-old from Cardiff, who made 16 appearances for the Black and Ambers and seven for the region as a scrum-half in 2008/9, heads to the Aviva Premiership after five seasons with the Ospreys.
Isaacs played 66 times for the Liberty Stadium outfit but has ended his stay in Swansea despite having a year left on his contract in a bid to enjoy more regular rugby.
Earlier this week the Cherry and Whites, whose boss is ex-Wales coach Nigel Davies, confirmed the arrival of former Dragons fly-half Aled Thomas from the Scarlets.
Lions hooker Richard Hibbard is heading to Kingsholm this summer while Gloucester are also said to be interested in young Scarlets flanker Dan Thomas.
