NEWPORT County won’t be adding any more players to their squad this season, says manager Justin Edinburgh.
The deadline for emergency loans in the Football League is 5pm today and there will be no more arrivals at Rodney Parade.
Edinburgh brought in defender Kevin Feely from Championship club Charlton Athletic a week ago and goalkeeper Ian McLoughlin from MK Dons the week before.
And the Exiles also signed former Wales international Darcy Blake, who was without a club having been released by Premier League outfit Crystal Palace in January.
But that will be the last business that County do this season.
Edinburgh also revealed that members of his squad, who he declined to name, had rejected the chance to leave the club on loan this week.
“We won’t be bringing anyone in,” said the manager. “We had one or two enquiries about players going out and I spoke to those players but they didn’t feel they wanted to do that.”
