BEDWAS know that they need a perfect five wins from five if they are to charge into the Premiership playoffs at the death, writes Chris Kirwan.
The Bridge Field outfit missed out on the top three by the narrowest of margins last season, losing to Llandovery on the final day of the season to slip down to fourth.
The odds are against them making it this year because they sit sixth, 10 points behind the Drovers albeit with a game in hand.
But they haven't give up on hope and will look to put the heat on the teams above them with a home win against bottom club Swansea.
"Our chances of making the playoffs are slim but there is still plenty to play for and we'd love to finish as top Gwent club," said head coach Steve Law, whose side are four points back on Cross Keys.
"We've got three home games on the bounce against teams that are fighting for survival and they are all going to be tough.
"Swansea head here with a huge incentive to win and we will have to be physical; we've bettered most sides in terms of ball-carrying of late and that needs to continue."
Bedwas also host Neath and Bridgend while they travel to Cardiff and playoff-chasing rivals Keys in the run-in.
They bring 18-year-old Dragons prospect Joe Davies, who has played in the second row for both Wales Under-18s and 20s in recent weeks, onto their bench.
