NEWPORT County AFC midfielder is set to be sidelined for around six weeks with a groin injury picked up in Tuesday's friendly win over Evesham United.
A statement from the club reads: "The early diagnosis is that Max Porter will be out for up to six weeks with a groin injury that was picked up during the 4-2 victory over Evesham United on Tuesday.
"We're still awaiting further test results and we wish Max a speedy recovery."
