FORMER Newport County AFC striker Aaron O'Connor has signed a one-year deal at Conference club Forest Green Rovers.
O'Connor, who was released by County last month, joins former Exiles teammates Darren Jones and David Pipe at the New Lawn.
The 31-year-old arrived at Rodney Parade in the summer of 2012 and was the top scorer as Justin Edinburgh's men won promotion to the Football League.
O'Connor scored the second goal at Wembley in the play-off final victory over Wrexham in May 2013 but injury ruined his first season in League Two and he was not offered a new deal after scoring 11 goals in the 2014/15 campaign.
