MARK Byrne swept the board at Newport County AFC’s annual awards night.
The Exiles captain picked up no fewer than seven accolades including player of the year and players' player of the year.
Byrne received the supporters’ club player and away player of the year prizes, the most appearances award and his strike against Blackburn in the FA Cup was named as the goal of the season.
The County Choir also gave their player of the year award to Byrne, while Scott Boden was the clear winner of the top goalscorer award.
Joe Day was community player of the year, Andrew Hughes young player of the year, and Matt Partridge was the supporters' club young player of the year.
