CWMBRAN para-athlete Kyron Duke will be representing Paralympics GB at September's Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
The 23-year-old field athlete, who specialises in javelin and shot put, is one of a number of Welsh athletes confirmed to be making the trip to Brazil.
Duke competed at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London in the javelin and shot put events, where he came eighth and fifth in the F41 class respectively.
In total, nine Welsh athletes were named in the 41-strong Paralympics GB team.
