FOUR members of Torfaen Taekwondo Club have been successful in their black belt grading.
The grading took place at the TAGB Bristol Academy in front of a panel of six examiners.
The club offers its congratulations to new 1st Degree Black Belt holders Catty Langford, David Watkins, Keiran Lane and Andrew Jones.
All of them have worked hard and persevered to better themselves for the grading.
Students are expected to perform set movements of self-defence, patterns and sparring, as well as know Korean terminologies (in relation to taekwondo), and break the boards (for adults only) in front of the grading panels.
The club would also like to wish Carl Betty the best of luck in the USA Taekwondo Invitational tournament on October 22 and 23 in Florida.
He has been chosen as part of the Team TAGB Great Britain.
