CHEPSTOW Racecourse's stands will be empty on Monday but Welsh rugby stars will be among guests when racing returns on Monday.
Chepstow will host Wales' first meeting since the suspension of the sport because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The nine-race card will be behind closed doors but the venue will be hosting a star-studded Instagram Live event from 2pm to celebrate the return of action.
A different celebrity will take part in a live Q&A for each race with Wales internationals George North, Jonathan Davies and Josh Navidi among those that have confirmed along with champion jockey Richard Johnson and fitness guru and Love Island contestant Frankie Foster.
Davies is part owner of Potters Corner, the winner of last year's Welsh Grand National.
Phil Bell, executive director of Chepstow and Ffos Las said "This is an exciting new initiative for horse racing in what are challenging times for all sports.
"Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic racing was working hard to attract new racegoers and it is obvious we will need to be extremely pro-active and innovative in the future.
"Engaging with a new audience via Instagram and our guest celebrities is just one promotional idea we are currently working on at Chepstow and Ffos Las."
The nine race card sees the welcome return to Wales some of most prominent racing figures in Britain.
Monmouthshire racehorse trainer Grace Harris said: "It's felt like an age but we're delighted to be back racing! The track is looking great.
"Wales has some of the most exciting trainers and jockeys and I think we are all hoping to pick up where we left off from pre lockdown."
"This Instagram Live event is brilliant for all things Welsh racing. As a sport we have something to offer everyone and hopefully this will be a really fun and engaging social media experience for all the fans"
