WITH the deadline on transfers from foreign clubs coming into effect at 11pm tonight we asked which players you would like to see Newport County AFC make a move for, if money was no object.
Your suggestions, while possibly slightly out of reach for a League Two club - even one performing as well as County, would certainly boost their ambitions of pushing for promotion this season.
Commenting on Facebook, Glanwyn Morris said that Gareth Bale would be the player of choice with the end of Deadline Day looming.
This may prove a tricky deal to wangle for Michael Flynn, given that Bale has already moved to Tottenham Hotspur on loan this summer.
Jose Mourinho would likely not be too happy with his headline-grabbing signing being poached at the last minute by the Exiles boss.
Seeing Bale turn out in the black and amber of County would be a treat.

Matthew Meredith would like County to sign an in-demand striker from Paris Saint-Germain.
Edinson Cavani is being linked with clubs such as Manchester United and is reported to have undergone a medical at the Premier League giants in recent hours.
Such news will again mean that Michael Flynn will have to convince the Uruguayan star that Newport is the club for him.
As well as Bale, Cavani could lead a front three for County alongside another of your dream signings, Jadon Sancho.
The Dortmund winger has been linked to Manchester United for what seems like forever.
However, commenter Dean Ward would prefer the England international to swap the yellow of BVB for the amber of the Exiles.
Bale, Cavani and Sancho would be a formidable partnership in any league and if Michael Flynn was somehow able to get his hands on the three forwards Newport County AFC would be a force to be reckoned with this season.
As it is, the Exiles are sitting pretty at the top of League Two without the help of these multi-million-pound players and look on course for an extremely promising start to the season.
