FORWARD Owen Windsor has left Newport County AFC after just one game of his loan spell from West Bromwich Albion.
The 19-year-old joined the Exiles on January 5 after spending the first of the campaign at Grimsby, where he made 13 appearances and scored two goals.
The former Hartpury College student came off the bench for his debut against Cheltenham after being an unused substitute against Salford.
Windsor revealed on Instagram that he has returned to the Baggies, although this is yet to be officially confirmed by County, who are well stocked for small forwards.
They are also limited to five loanees in a matchday squad and his exit could free up some space for deadline recruits.
County already have midfielders Luke Gambin and Anthony Hartigan plus forward Jake Scrimshaw on loan.
They have signed defender Priestley Farquharson, midfielder Jack Evans and striker Dom Telford on permanent deals.
