NEWPORT County boss Peter Beadle knows his side won't thrash every team they play, but sees no reason who his charges can't continue their free-scoring ways.
Struggling Hayes and Yeading are the visitors to Spytty Park tomorrow in the Blue Square South (kick-off 3pm), in the second of five successive home encounters for the Exiles.
And hot on the heels of County's 5-0 thumping of rivals Weston-Super-Mare, Beadle has underlined his belief that the result on New Year's Day need not be a one-off.
He said: "Obviously what I want tomorrow is a similar performance from the players and I see no reason why it can't happen.
"Many times this season we've created enough chances to score a hat full, for example when we lost 3-2 to Bath in the FA Cup and could've scored eight with a bit more luck.
"We have very good attacking options and I think we're capable of dishing out a few more hidings this season."
Beadle believes Hayes and Yeading will fancy their chances of securing a surprise victory.
"In a way it's a harder challenge than Weston, they bring a more experienced and mature side here who have suffered a bit with their results over Christmas," he said.
"No one is expecting them to win the game and that will make them fearless and we'll have to respond to that.
"But if my players play to their capabilities then hopefully our winning run will continue."
Beadle has been tinkering with his squad to mark the start of 2008.
Defender Shane Brewer will join Yate on an one-month loan today, joining Paul Cochlin who has moved to Cirencester on a similar deal.
Beadle explained: "Shane has done all we've asked of him this season, but now he needs some competitive football and he'll benefit from a spell with Yate.
"We've stepped up Paul Cochlin's comeback by sending him to Cirencester, it's a better standard of football than he had last month and we're looking at bringing him back at the start of February if all goes well because we rate him very highly.
Beadle met with chairman Chris Blight yesterday to discuss potential transfer targets.
"We've not got any problem areas in the squad at the moment but that doesn't mean I am not looking," Beadle said.
"We are always interested in the right players and we have three or four in mind who could help us if the money is right.
"But we won't pay silly fees for non-league players, clubs must be realistic in their valuations."
County retain an interest in Bath City midfielder Lewis Hogg but have been unable to reach any agreement with the Twerton Park outfit.
The Exiles also continue to monitor the situation with experienced former football league left-back Martyn Giles, who trained at Spytty Park late last year.
However, Giles is currently several weeks away from fitness because of a back injury.
Meanwhile boss Beadle reports that his squad are only suffering with "bumps and bruises," following three games in six days and expects to pick from a fully fit squad tomorrow.
