NEWPORT, Cross Keys and Ebbw Vale were all winners in the Premiership this afternoon.
The Black and Ambers were 16-12 victors at home to Bridgend, a penalty try and 11 points from the boot of Dan Griffiths seeing them home.
Keys followed up last week's win over Ebbw Vale with another fine victory, beating Glamorgan Wanderers 13-8 with hooker Rhys Miller crossing.
And Ebbw Vale won with a bonus point against Maesteg, Ian George (2), Bryan Shelbourne and Aaron Bramwell their scorers.
With Neath drawing and Cardiff losing, the Steelmen regain their top spot while Keys are in a strong position in sixth.
