ROBBIE Savage has completed his move from Blackburn to Barclays Premier League rivals Derby for a fee of £1.5million.
The 33-year-old former Wales international midfielder has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Rams that will take him to the summer of 2010.
Savage is likely to make his debut against Derby manager Paul Jewell's former side Wigan on Saturday.
Wrexham-born, the often controversial Savage signed his first professional contract with Manchester United in 1993, but failed to make any first-team appearances at Old Trafford.
In October 2002 he played a starring role for Wales in their famous 2-1 win over Italy in a World Cup qualifier at the Millennium Stadium.
Savage retired from international football in March 2005 after being dropped by new manager John Toshack.
